Hello my name is Anthony, also known as Tony to my friends, Chef Anton and Taco Tone. I have lived in Bristol all my life, a city I love. I currently work for a maintenance company & have been in the construction industry for about 25yrs. I am also a fully qualified rugby coach & have been coaching children for 6 years at Kingswood RFC.
Before I got into the construction industry I trained & worked as a professional chef. I was lucky enough to work with a great brigade of chefs many of whom were in the GB culinary team at the time.
I have recently found my passion for cooking again and have loved cooking & experimenting with new ideas and combinations of flavour. I joined Cookpad about 6 months ago & I think it’s a fantastic platform for people to share ideas about something they love to do.
I would say that I don’t have a particular cooking style and I'm not much of a recipe follower. I taste a lot through my cooking process sometimes things work and sometimes they don’t; but I think this is what makes creative cooking amazing. I do also like to make things as visually attractive as possible. I also try to use fresh quality ingredients from local suppliers if I can. I think this is important, as using quality ingredients elevates your cooking.
I enjoy sharing my recipes on Cookpad and I hope to inspire others, as they have done for me.
