Cookpad Community Spotlight: Meet Iskan!

Hello from Indonesia 👋

My name is Iskan and I live in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia with my husband and 2 year old son. I couldn't cook and rarely went into the kitchen when I was single. Then one day I had some free time and tried a simple recipe, it was doughnut and I did great (that's what people around me thought) from then onward I loved going to the kitchen more.

I never thought to make a Cookpad account before until one day I saw my friend's wife's Cookpad account and it looked so much fun. From there I began my Cookpad journey.

What I love about cooking, especially home cooking, is that you have to be smart to make whatever you have in house to be something delicious for your family and how a certain food actually has a long story behind it especially for traditional food.
