"There is no love sincerer than the love of food" A quote that rings true in my household and I believe in many a home across the world. To me, food brings families, friends.... everyone together. There is nothing I love more than cooking huge platters of simple, rustic, colourful food and sharing it across the table. I think simple is best, as this allows good quality ingredients, paired well, to speak for themselves. For me there is no bigger compliment than an empty plate and a happy face at the end of a meal.

I started cooking young and still make the same pancakes with the same ingredients for my son that my mum made for me, with me, over 30 years ago. At age 15 I bought my first wok with birthday money and started cooking stir frys for my friends... using any ingredient I could get my hands on, or could afford!
I have made many mistakes in the kitchen and have learnt from every one.

I was introduced to Cookpad a couple of years ago. Cookpad, particularly the Bristol kitchen, has a special place in my heart. They hired little old me from my Cozy Kitchen to cater the launch party for the absolutely stunning Cookpad offices and kitchen... My brief was homely, autumnal, bite sized, comfort food. Think bonfire night, think halloween. Perfection... My favourite type of food! We had mini chilli jacket potatoes, beef sliders, bite-size S'mores, pumpkin pie and much more deliciousness. It was a beautiful night, we ate good food and I met amazing people from the Cookpad community. I have felt at home there ever since.
Cookpad to me is an amazing space to share creativity with people who love what I love, good food. I am so happy to be part of the Cookpad community.
