Food Photography Workshop for Home Cooks 📸

Do you find it challenging to photograph your own food at home? We all know that feeling of taking a photo of a tasty home-cooked meal that we're proud of, only for it to look less appealing in the final photos. But learning some very simple tips and tricks can transform your recipe photos and Cooksnaps and tempt others to try them too.

Firstly let us reassure you that on Cookpad, we love to see genuine home cooked dishes and prefer the natural look. However, we understand that some of our home cooks would like to improve on their food photography skills, plus it's such a fun skill to work on at home!

It is possible to take some great photos of home cooked food without any expensive equipment, complicated recipes or fancy cookware. At Cookpad we want to show that even that mid-week Shepherds Pie can look delicious when photographed with a standard smartphone. Recipes with photos are really helpful for our community as they give a clear indication of how the dish should look when we cook it 📸

Join us on Friday 26th March at 1pm on our Cookpad Facebook page for a special live workshop in which Yui Miles from our Cookpad UK community team will show us her simple food photography tips and tricks.

Simply click on the live video at 1pm to join this free session, ask questions, share your own food photography tips and have fun practicing in your own kitchen.

Let’s have fun learning some new skills together at home! 🏡
