What are the Global Cookpad Games 2024?
The Global Cookpad Games 2024 is a worldwide cooking challenge that sees home cooks cooking recipes with ingredients from different set categories each week to win their medals. And the country with the most recipes submitted will be the winner at the end of the Games!
Running for 3 consecutive weeks from 26 July to August 13 2024, the Games presents a different challenge each week. Participants are invited to submit recipes according to the week’s designated group of ingredients.
The more recipes you submit, the higher the chances of the United Kingdom emerging as the Winner of Global Cookpad Games 2024!
And of course all participants get a chance to win a medal and a certificate for yourself!
How to participate in the Global Cookpad Games 2024
The Global Cookpad Games 2024 is made up of 3 challenges - one challenge for each week (click on the highlighted titles to go to the challenge page):
- Challenge 1: 🥚Proteins (July 26 to August 1)
- Challenge 2: 🥕Fruits and vegetables (August 1 to August 7)
- Challenge 3: 🧁Desserts (August 7 to August 13)
For each challenge, there will be a list of 10 ingredients. All you need to do is cook a dish using any of the ingredients listed, publish the recipe with the hashtag #globalcookpadgames2024 in the story section, and send it to the week’s challenge via the challenge page. Easy peasy!
On top of that, you can also get a medal and a certificate for your participation in the Games! The more medals we win, the higher our ranking in the Leaderboard:
- 🥇 Gold Medal: 1 Gold Medal for each author who sends in 3 or more recipes per challenge
- 🥈 Silver Medal: 1 Silver Medal for each author who sends in 2 recipes per challenge
- 🥉 Bronze Medal: 1 Bronze Medal for each author who sends in 1 recipe per challenge
- 📜 Medal + Certificate: Participants who send in the most number of recipes

Rules of the Global Cookpad Games 2024
Here are the rules that you need to follow to qualify for the Games:
- Each recipe must use at least one of the 10 ingredients listed for each challenge.
- Each recipe must include the hashtag #globalcookpadgames2024 in the story section.
- Each recipe must have a main dish photo and use only real photos of your own.
- Each recipe must include the number of servings and cooking time.
- Each recipe must include units of measurement in the ingredients section.
- Each recipe must have a minimum of 1 photo in the steps section.
- Each recipe must have at least 3 steps detailing the making of the dish.
