Q: How to cook fresh chestnuts..?
A: you can prepare in many different ways!
1.Roast
Oven-roasting is the best way to bring out the flavor of chestnuts. You can eat them on their own, or add them to salads, stews, pasta, or stir fry.

2.Boiling
Boiling chestnuts gives them a smooth texture, making them ideal for soups or purées.
3.Steaming
Steaming is another way to prepare chestnuts so you can remove the shells and skins.
4.Soaking
Soak chestnuts in water for 30–60 minutes to soften the skin.
Tips:
Before cooking, you should cut an "x" or "y" into the chestnut shell to loosen it from the nut. You should also peel the chestnuts while they are still hot, as it's difficult to peel them when they're cold.
⚠️Chestnuts contain tannic acid, so they should not be eaten raw!
Aubergine and chestnut ragu
This is a nice vegetarian alternative to a meat ragu. The chestnuts have a lovely sweetness about them which goes well with the tomatoes and they also give it a really nice thick texture.⭐️
