Meal prepping might seem like something that "more organised" people do, but meal prepping is a great habit to get into if you have a busy week ahead and still want to eat well. Anyone can meal prep, let our Cookpad community cooks lead the way with these great recipes to get you started.

Meal prepping for breakfast

MEATY BREAKFAST: Sean McBride’s breakfast wraps - one recipe for a whole week of filling tortilla wraps stuffed with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and cheese. Once made, wrap each tortilla in foil and freeze. 12 breakfasts, ready to heat and eat!

VEGAN BREAKFAST: Irum Zaidi’s granola bars - make a great grab and go breakfast. Simply bake a batch at the weekend, cut into 12 individual bars and enjoy!

MEATY LUNCH: Thiskidlovesink’s Chinese garlic chicken salad - one recipe makes 3 lunches for the week ahead. Delicious aromatic marinated chicken thighs served with salad, sweet potato and boiled eggs. A good balance of protein, carbs and fat to keep you full until dinnertime.

VEGAN LUNCH: Irmgard Gater’s red zucchini/courgette soup - makes 1.7L of delicious soup. Simply make the batch then portion it out into single servings. The soup lasts for up to 5 ways in the fridge, or you can freeze portions you don’t want to eat straight away.

MEATY DINNER: debbyactuallycooks's beef stroganoff - makes a hearty 4 portions. A perfect one pot dish that is also freezer-friendly!

VEGAN DINNER: Give Michael Wilkes Jr's vegan chili con carne a try! Why not double up the recipe, split between 8 tupperware boxes and freeze what you won’t eat over the next few days.
