February 2021 Facebook Cooking Schedule:
Monday Feb 1st 11am - We will be making Cherie's Thai Red Curry Recipe with Salmon.
Cherie says "I love making Choo Chee Pla Salmon. Choo Chee is a type of Thai coconut milk-based red curry, that is perfect for seafood, with its thicker sauce; rather than the more soupy other red curries. It’s so quick and easy to make this dish. Thinly chopped fresh kafir lime leaves from our own tree added a beautiful smell to the finished dish."
Monday February 8th 11am - We will be making Kezia's Nasi Goreng recipe.
This is a great comfort food dish for dull February days, with rice, peas, bacon and the umami flavours of soy, shrimp paste and chilli. Top tip - if you don't have shrimp paste you can substitute 1/2 tsp shrimp paste for 1 tbsp fish sauce.
Monday February 15th 11am - We will be making Jennifer Su's fluffy Simple American Pancakes recipe.
Perfect for a family weekend breakfast or brunch and loved by children everywhere, this session - the day before Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) - is sure to encourage you to try making pancakes too! Choose your own choice of topping, fresh berries, bananas & Nutella, maple syrup ... how will you do yours?
Monday February 22nd 11am - As it is Real Bread Week, we will be making Lubna's Homemade Garlic Naan Bread Recipe.
Homemade naan bread is really easy to make at home. It's great with curries of course, but also naan breads make a great snack with dips or on the side of salads and soups when you're working from home.
We hope you will join us for some of these free live cooking sessions on our Cookpad UK Facebook Page. If you miss a session, simply find it the next day on our Cookpad UK YouTube channel. Everyone is welcome whether you are a part of Cookpad community yet or not. Let's have fun cooking at home!
