The Cookpad GBBO Final
The Great British Bake Off 2018 has finished its run on Channel 4 and we are so sad to see it go! But it’s not all over at Cookpad’s Bristol HQ, as we have our internal GBBO Final today (Wednesday 7th November).
For the entire run of the series, the intrepid bakers from Cookpad’s GBBO contest have been submitting their bakes and being voted on by the rest of the staff. This afternoon, the last two teams standing will be baking off in a live two hour GBBO final!
Team 1 is the Financiers, a super-competitive team with competition bakes including:
This decadent chocolate Guinness cake
These cute apple custard crumble tarts
And this amazing raspberry and chocolate brownie meringue cake
Competing against The Financiers is Team 2, The Patisserie People, competition bakes from this determined crew included:
These amazing vegan Oreo brownies
This delicious lemon meringue pie
And these melt-in-the-mouth Danish butter biscuits
The GBBO final will take place in the Cookpad kitchen at our Bristol HQ this afternoon between 2pm-4pm. We'll be following events live on our social media channels so be sure to tune in and find out how they get on.
