Muesli:
Muesli, can be called granola's healthier cousin, is a delightful mix of rolled oats, dried fruits, nuts, and seeds. Muesli adds a satisfying crunch in overnight oats and energy bars. It can be used to create fusion desserts like Muesli Ladoo etc, blending traditional flavors with modern health trends.
Millet Sprout:
Millet sprouts, including varieties like finger millet (ragi) and pearl millet (bajra), are nutrition-packed powerhouses. These sprouts are a crucial element in regional cuisines, from ragi dosas and pearl millet rotis to Bajra Khichdi. Millet sprouts can be used in salads, soups, and stir-fries, bringing their nutty flavor and health benefits to a wide range of dishes.
Leftover and Lauki (Bottle Gourd):
(this is an ingredient combination must be used together in a recipe)
"Leftover" is an opportunity to transform last night's meal into a new culinary creation. Pair it with "lauki," a versatile vegetable, to create innovative dishes. In India, you can make Lauki Ke Kofte, or experiment more with Lauki and Leftover Curry.
Ricotta:
Ricotta, often referred to as Italian cottage cheese, is prized for its creamy texture. It can be used in both sweet and savory dishes, such as Ricotta Stuffed Parathas or Ricotta Cheesecake with a Twist. Globally, it's a key component in lasagna, ravioli, and rich, indulgent desserts like cannoli.
Green Amaranth:
Green amaranth, also known as "chaulai" or "cholai" in India, is a leafy green packed with nutrients. It's used in recipes like "Chaulai Saag" and "Cholai Paratha." It can be featured in various dishes, such as sautéed greens, salads, and as a nutritious addition to soups and stews.
