We all know the amount of love you put into your cooking at home.

We also know that sometimes when you are in a hurry you forget about how
much you love the plain and simple joy that cooking can give you, and
lose yourself in the hectic day-to-day of what to cook and all the
elements of running a household.

But its amazing to know that with just very very tiny changes to how you
take a photograph of your dish you can make the photo look 400 times
better than it originally was!

Bonus tip: Make sure there is nothing lying on the table in the
background to make sure the photo doesn't look messy. (for example:
fruits, an extra spoon, other dishes, etc.)A clean photo is a beautiful
photo!

It might even surprise you that just placing the food cleanly on the
plate or bowl, having an interesting cloth or table cloth to place the
plate on, and even having some natural light coming in from a window or
open door, or having a well lit room can make a photo look as
droolworthy as the actual food you have painstakingly prepared.

Bonus tip: If you don't have a very good table cloth you can even take an old saree, or a dupatta and fold it and keep the plate on that to add a vibrant pop of colour!

You can even make sure that you keep the wall or background plain as
well and take a photo when the light hits the dish perfectly.

fabulous piece by Ramya Menon on one of our older blogs!
