Hi all, my name is Sigrun, most call me Sig, and a few Mina ( my nickname). I am German by birth but I now live in Somerset/England.
I am married, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I learned to cook from my grandmother, she always shared the love for her family and strangers through cooking, gardening, as well as arts and crafts and an eye for details. She loved being in nature on the homestead that she shared with my grandfather and some of my uncles and aunts.
I am very lucky to have inherited her love for life, positive attitude and mentioned strength.
I am grateful that I can cook and have the courage to use up leftovers in creative ways, cook from scratch and also follow recipes that can be reinvented or used as guide.
