Truffles are really delicious and although they sound fancy, they are very easy to prepare. We’ve looked out some simple truffle recipes for you to make as gifts. You can buy chocolate boxes online and fill them with a little shredded rafia paper before popping in your truffles and wrapping with a bow.

Katie’s Christmas pudding truffles just couldn’t be any cuter! Simply soak the dried fruit in brandy, melt the chocolate then mix all of the ingredients together. You can make the fondant decorations yourself or buy them readymade.

Beth’s chocolate truffles are easy peasy to make. Melt the chocolate and mix it with hot cream and your flavouring of choice to make a simple flavoured ganache. Allow the mix to chill in the fridge before rolling into balls and coating with your choice of topping, we love coconut, freeze dried raspberries and cocoa powder.
