Join us on Friday 3rd September at 11am to make two easy bread recipes in celebration of Cookpad’s bread week (running 31st August to 5th September).

It’s been a busy summer, why not make time for some self-care and much needed (and deserved) ‘you time’. Making bread is therapeutic and fun, plus you’ll learn new skills alongside other keen home cooks.

Learn to make:

Caroline’s easy soda bread

Caroline's soda bread recipe uses everyday kitchen ingredients to make a delicious yeast-free loaf

Discover the power of bicarb in bread making. No need to add yeast or prove the dough, simply mix it together then bake!

Ingredients required - plain flour, bicarbonate of soda, natural plain yoghurt (or soya/non-dairy alternative), milk and salt. See the recipe here for full quantities and method.

Kimwlos Kimwlos’s 5 ingredient easy beer bread

Kimwlos Kimwlos's beer bread recipe is so simple and uses beer as a raising agent

No need to add yeast or prove the dough. In this easy beer bread recipe, the beer does all the hard work, we’ll simply make the dough then bake it. You can also use alcohol free beer in this recipe.

Ingredients required - plain flour, beer, baking powder, honey, salt and olive oil. See the recipe here for full quantities and method.
